CH Posey

On October 20, 2013 Posey, Monumental High Sierra Wildflower finished her AKC Championship by going WB/BOW.  Posey is loved and owned (and co-owned with Tana) by Heather Ingham and lives in CA.  She was first shown by a professional handler for a couple points.  Then Heather and Laurie Isaacson shared the duties of showing her.  They made a great team and managed to finish Posey in grand style.  Sadly, I (Tana) never got to see Posey show.  However-I've been told that Posey is very well trained and was easy to show.  She's a very pretty girl who reminds me of her mother, Sadie (GCH CH CT Monumental Ravenwd Smart Choice CD RE).    She is the 29th champion for her sire, GCH CH Rockstar's Reconsider Me, aka Slade, owned by Pam Fisher of Rockstar Dalmatians.  Congratulations to everyone involved in achieving this championship.  Along the way Posey had many nice wins including a BOS over a top winning bitch special.

Joie earns the AKC Canine Good Citizen title

Sat., Aug. 3rd I took Joie and Sadie to a fun match put on by the Newfoundland club.  Sadie had a great time performing her Open obedience tricks and Joie was very good in the Novice obedience ring.  Just for kicks I decided to put Joie in the Canine Good Citizen test--thought it would be a good thing to do to warm her up for the novice ring.  She passed with flying colors.  So-I'll pay the extra $20 to AKC so that Joie can add that to the end of her name.  She'll be CH Monumental Highly Resembles A Rockstar RN TD CA CGC ASCA RN.  She's been a busy girl since the end of March.

Lure Coursing--CA titles earned in April

In April I entered Brady and Joie in Lure Coursing Trials.  We had such great fun that weekend.  Both the kids earned the CA title.  I've finally ordered photos from that day.  The photographer did a great job taking photos.  Both Joie and  Brady ran all of their 600 yard courses in less than a minute.  Brady was always around 45 seconds.  He thinks this game was invented just for him.  Other exhibitors were calling him the 'Sight Hound Wannabe.'  That he is for sure.  Joie ran her courses in great fashion, too.  However-she was not quite a crazy to run as Brady was.  She was very alert at the line and she behaved quite well.  Brady, on the other hand, went to the line screaming and traveling on his hind legs.  Hard to hold that boy.
